Hi, I am Claire. I am a Play Therapist, Guidance Counsellor and Mam of three. I trained as a  Play Therapist through N.U.I.G. and I am affiliated with Play Therapy Ireland. I completed my Guidance Counselling training in D.C.U. I also hold a PostGraduate Diploma in Teaching (D.C.U) and  B.A. Education in Theology & Psychology (D.C.U.) I have trained in AutPlay Therapy. Autplay is play and behavioural therapy-based approach to support children and young people who are neurodivergent. I am currently in year three of a degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy through I.I.C.P. and am a students member of I.A.C.P.

With nearly twenty years of experience in the education sector, I am a dedicated professional specializing in social-emotional learning, personal counseling, guidance counseling, and play therapy. My career has been focused on supporting young people through the myriad of challenges they face, from emotional and social issues to academic and executive functioning skills. My deep understanding of the education system, combined with a compassionate and practical approach, allows me to effectively support young people and their families in navigating educational and personal development challenges.
